Praise God for His grace and mercy through the last few months! He once again has shown Himself mighty by providing for our family and allowing us to minister to many lost around world. We want to thank you for being faithful to support and pray for our family!
Our Trip to Grenada
I love what God has called us to do, but sometimes it gets difficult. Just weeks before our trip, we had several team members cancel because of deaths in families, loss of employment, etc. After spending hours on the phone with Priceline about our tickets, we found out that we lost almost the whole dollar amount of the tickets. With the cancellations, we only had 8 people going on the trip including Angie and myself.
With VBS and evening services planned at Mamma Cannes Independent Baptist Church, we were ready to work hard. Our team did an excellent job! We had over 100 children attend VBS. With only 8 workers it was hard at times, but God blessed the efforts and saved several children. In the evening services the team sang in choir and many sang solos. The whole trip was a great blessing, but the highlight of the trip for me was leading a man named Richie to the Lord! You could tell this man had lived a rough life. It was a blessing to hear him call upon the One who can save whosoever will!
Mission Trip to Columbus, OH
In August we took a small group to Old Paths Baptist Church in Columbus to help the church with their very first VBS. We also canvassed the area with tracts and church information. We praise God for the 7 children that received Christ as their Savior during the week. We’re praying that God continues to bless Pastor LaPat and their church!
Great News!!!
While we helped Central Baptist Church in Piqua, OH with a VBS at the end of July, a great thing happened in our family. Grace accepted Christ as her Savior! What a blessing to know that my daughter will spend eternity in heaven with us! She told Angie and me before I baptized her that when she becomes a cowgirl when she’s older, she’s going to tell all the other cowgirls that Jesus loves them. I am excited to see what God is going to do in her life!
Update
God has been good to our family. The last few months He has filled our schedule when we thought it was going to be very slow. The month of September we spent helping Burlington Baptist Church in Ohio who is currently without a pastor. I’m so thankful God has given us plenty of opportunities to serve Him. God has also led individuals and a youth group to support us monthly!
Our kids both had birthdays in August. It’s hard to believe that Grace is 6 and James is 5. Growing up on the road is difficult, but by God’s grace they do very well!
